    Yes to all above..

Then for the mobs that bring environmental changes/moods.ie
    • the mob that infiltrates your team appearing as a member before turning

Oh man.... this kind of enemy would be perfect for a creepy castle/mansion style dungeon where your group has to split up at various stages to advance though it.
You may never be certain if that's your friend or a evil doppelgänger around the corner.
  • Demons, dragons, wights, elementals, basilisks, wyverns, ghosts, wolves, lions, bears, just about any creature you can think of from game of thrones, eagles, bats, mimics, fiends, water creatures of sorts. I'd like to see a storyline or plotline that features a cult of demons/wights who have a hierarchy.

I'd also appreciate a game with more diversification for each type of monster while maintaining significance. For example, a lower tiered mob drops high level items at an appropriately rarer rate than their higher level counterpart thus keeping them relevant. Another example: combating a certain number of lower tier before reaching a higher tier. Last example: having one mob drop a weapon that may be at a lower tier but has a special effect that keeps it relevant even at higher tiers or can be combined.
tldr: keep things relevant at all levels. I dont like tiers, i find that they stale the economy and promote dead content.
  • nothing cute or funny...I want to be scared....and feel threatened. Something like these! Yes, these are under my copyright for my own rpg, but you get the idea! =D
  • Image result for monsters png
    YES.
  • I want there to be Liches, love that stuff.
  • Killing a bunch of mobs is boring, monsters should scare you, you must want to kill them.
More variety. Like, you have a hydra for example and it subdivided into 3 different types
  • Also i would like to see the monsters which looks like animals with
    hypertrophic limbs.
    Look at this staffthis

That last one reminds me of the dead sea in a old rts game I used to play
  • based on some of the char design / monster design i am going to love whatever they come up with, the more imaginative and original the beter.

  • Here is an idea I have seen yet, what if there is a Slime or Gel Boss on a solo mission that takes over whatever pet or mount you have out on meeting the Boss? It would use your pet/mount's abilities against you but as you fought you would only hurt the Slim not you P/M
  • I'd like to see a variety of monsters some local to regions of a map and some which drift across the world; feeding on local resources and then visually moving to another area as a horde once their food source is diminished. This would tie in with the idea of the world being alive and killing them could be repeatable quests for nodes.
  • while, I don't think WOTC would be to happy if they put in beholders in AOC, but a variant of the beholder might be nice....they are some truly nasty things!
  • Inspiration from Heroes of might and magic perhaps would suit good ...
