    Looking back on it, SOE had quite the impressive lineup back in the day. I guess all the more reason why EQ Next was such a heartbreaker. I don't know enough about Daybreak to fairly comment on their ways but they definitely didn't seem to handle Landmark and any EQ-related PR that well. But, I digress. I don't want to derail into discussing corporate management.

    If Intrepid could snag all other available former SOE production team members, I'd be elated  :D
    Or buy the EQ IP outright and do something cool with it.

  • Oh my, shame on me but as a under 15 years old kid (think around 10-13) i first started with this free P2W Garbage MMO's like Metin 2, Cabal Online, Runescape (ok not p2w) and more to come.

    Than the first real MMORPG that i really played hard with success in PVP and PvE and GvG was

    Guild Wars

    Sure i also tried WoW
    Warhammer Online
    Lord of the Rings Online
    Albion Online
    Black Desert Online (This i regret the most biggest Crash Grab... Spend so much money^^)
    Age of Conan
    Tera
    Rift
    Wildstar
    Star Wars the Old Republic
    Guild Wars 2

    Everquest 1 and 2, Nox, (not sure if that actually counts as mmorpg lol) WoW, Guild Wars 1 and 2, SW:KOTR, Rift, Neverwinter, LOTRO, Tera, Vanguard, Runescape, Ultima Online. There's been a few other mobile type games, such as Celtic Heroes, Order and Chaos...I am still currently on ESO
    I'm sure I am missing some. I've been playing mmorpg's since Everquest's release in 1999.
  • Sacred Online (?) - Metin 2 - WoW - Shaiya - Tera - Perfect World - WoW - GW2 - BDO (current)

    archage,  AOC, wow, everquest, final fantastic, guild wars I & II, warhammer just to name a few.... I think I have tried every mmo since wow got boring. I hope this will be the last one for a while.
  • Too many for me to comfortably admit to anyone...yes, even to myself. But I will say that Warhammer online was the last game that I was really excited for before it came out. I also enjoyed WildStar combat and the game as a whole before empty cities and friends finding it too difficult turned me off to it.
  • Not as many as the people before me have played but this is most of them:

    Tera
    Vindictus
    C9
    Aion
    Dragons Prophet
    BnS
    ESO
    Riders of Icarus
    Revelation Online
    BDO
    Guild Wars 2
  • EQ1, EQ2, AO, EVE, Rift, Vanguard, WoW, GW, GW2, TSW, SW:TOR, FF14 (current)

    Pretty much have had an active MMO subscription since 1999 with very few breaks that lasted maybe a week or two. I like a persistent character out there somewhere.

    I'm noticing a lot of LOTRO players have found there way here. Is that because of some commonalities shared between Ashes and LOTRO?

    @Kratz @SpectoRz @Loyheta @Whocando @DJoneser @AutumnWillow
    Personally, I just love the IP. I've read as many books on it as I can and being Welsh I find the link between our own language and the Sindar Elves, and Tolkien's affiliation with our very own Red book of Hergest fascinating. LOTRO brought the IP to my favourite gaming genre so win/win :)
  • I'm not gonna list all of them cause forums only have so much space...  :|
  • Did anyone play fallen earth?

    I've listed this elsewhere but I will attempt chronology this time

    • DAoC
    • WoW (left when the Burning Crusade was announced)

    • CoH/V
    • CO (Champions Online)
    • WAR forums (yes, I spent a LOT of time "playing" the forums)
    • WAR :'( (broke my heart)
    • <Took an MMO break here>
    • WO (Wizardry Online...I bet NO ONE played this, even you Nagash!)'

    •Lineage II

    •Requiem

    •Vanilla WoW

    •Guild Wars

    •ESO

    •RIFT

    •Flyff

    •Maplestory

    •DDO

    •Neverwinter

    •Runescape

    •Mythos (Alpha and Beta)

    •Hellgate: London

    •City of Heroes/Villians

    There's no particular order to this list, and I am sure there is quite a few more but this was just off the top of my head.

  • Hm, I am sure I've answered this on another thread..but I'll go through a few of them.
    Ultima Online, everquest 1 and 2, runescape, wow, guild wars 1 and 2, nox, rift, nevewinter, swtor, black desert, Tera, ESO... I am sure I am missing a few. Meh
  • Games I have played are as follows:
    Path of exiles
    Everquest 2
    Neocron
    Runescape
    Underlight
  • RuneScape
    From 2004 till 2009, that was the moment RuneScape went downhill for me and decided to stop playing.

    World of Warcraft
    From 2010 till 2011. Didn't play any other MMO back then, was fully dedicated to WoW during those 2 years.

    Aion
    From 2012 till 2015. Same like WoW, fully dedicated. Didn't play any other MMO while I was playing this one.

    Neverwinter
    Played it for a few months, but couldn't get into it.

    Elder scrolls online
    From 2015 till now. I like Elder Scrolls Online, but it's nothing compared to Ashes of Creation from what we have heard about it currently. But we will have to see if Ashes of Creation truly becomes the best MMORPG.

    I'm 22 years old now, so I've been in the MMORPG genre for like 12 years now and thats a big part of my life. I've started playing games when I was around 7/8 years old. Not much though at that age, was more outside playing with other kids. But hey, it's a start! :wink:
  • MMOs I played for over a month:
    • Runescape
    • Ashen Empires
    • Last Chaos
    • World of Warcraft
    • TERA
    • Guild Wars 2
    • RIFT

    MMOs I played for between 7-30 days:
    • Eldevin
    • Blade & Soul

    MMOs I played for between 1-7 days:
    • Aion
    • Lineage
    • Eden Eternal
    • Wildstar

    I am only going to list the MMORPGs I have spent several months to years in, because if I listed them all-- I'd be here all night (or feel like it anyways).
    Also in some order of when I played them (or best I recall anyways).

    * EverQuest
    * World of Warcraft
    * Horizons: Empires of Istara / Istaria: Chronicles of The Gifted (poke it from time to time)
    * Final Fantasy XI
    * Rising Force Online
    * Eve Online (poke it from time to time)
    * Shadowbane
    * Final Fantasy XIV
    * Vanguard
    * Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (and onward and still playing)
    * Lord Of The Rings Online
    * Star Wars Old Republic
    * Elder Scrolls Online (still playing)

    Some mentions are, in no order, Ultima Online, City of Heroes/Villains, Champions Online, Wildstar, The Secret World, Black Desert Online, Rift, ArcheAge, & Revelation Online

    To Note:
    I've been playing MMORPGs since I was 10-- and I'm now 30. There was only a several span of my life where MMORPGs were not part of my life, but that was only around 4-5 years.
