    Ultima Online back in 1998. Man that game was addicting! I was like 14 years old and I named my toon Flint Fireforge. After that I played EverQuest, World of Warcraft, Aion, Final Fantasy 14, Black Desert Online, and soon I will be playing Ashes of Creation!

    My first ever MMO was SWTOR. Not really an MMO fan tbh....but anything Star Wars is worth a try imo.

    My first MMO was Guild Wars. If I now look at it, I can see how I changed as a player. I used to be able to fall in love with the story, completely immerse into the world and understand every aspect of lore. Nowadays, my characters are, probably also because of the games, rather 1dimensional and are just there to be played well, I hardly read any quest, as they are really poorly written in most modern MMOs. I'm looking forward to picking up the 'reading habit' again in Ashes!

    DAoC (the first and the best)

    I was very fortunate but at the same time it spoiled me. I have been looking for the true successor to it ever since.

    My first mmo was guild wars 1 where I made some good friends who then dragged me several months later into vanilla wow.

    Best mmo I have played would have to be Vanguard, had a terrible release but 6 months later was a true gem, the scope of that game was huge just like the game world its self.

    The first MMO I ever played was a 2D anime mmorpg called Angels Online. I was, I think, 12 at the time and I played it with my two childhood friends, and we had a little rivalry going XD But after that I really loved MMOs because of all the people I met, and the crazy fun times we had. Buuuut I ended up having to quit because my parents saw some perverts saying weird stuff in it o .o

    Anyways, two years later I ended up playing Fiesta Online with the same two friends and we really had a lot of fun. It's made me see how easily amused I was as a kid compared to now, where I have huuuge expectations of MMOs since I've seen so much of the same things. I wish I could go back to being a kid and having the rush of playing my first MMO ;u;

    I played Final Fantasy XI on the PS2. Yep I bought that HDD for it and everything. Honestly really sucked at it, all me and my cousin did was fish. We fished all day and night, trying to catch monsters to kill players. Was fun.

    After that was WoW, the game that consumed my life...I never fished again.

    The first I fell in love with, the one that got me hooked was LOTRO, it was awesome because of the people I was with.
    They all left due to 'real' life and i have kept on trying to recreate that feeling ever since.
    Sometimes you get back there again, then rl takes down your team, here's to ashes eh, may it be all that we want to recreate :smiley:

    My first was WoW until my laptop self immolated, then when I got a new comp I picked up the RIFT beta and got hooked like crack.

    Mine was Runescape back in the day. I played that for YEARS until I forgot my account info and just dropped the game entirely.

    I did a bit of Ultima but got into Everquest in the late 90s.  EQ was the greatest time in my life in regards to gaming.

    That's not late.  I didn't start playing MMORPGs until 2006.  I was 43.
