    I will have a bunch of names that I tend to use. If I have an opportunity to use my forum name I would.

    If not I tend to name my characters after friends, colleagues and or notable public figures and occasionally magic the gathering cards. Haha.

    I will most possibly be Cyreph, or Ceryph, or Phryce, or Ryceph, maybe Cypher if it's not taken, Cherpy if I really have that many characters.

    Indeed.  That or characters named after whatever inatimate object the player happens to see when they're trying to pick a name.  I've actually seen a character named "Tacosauce".

    The only thing you need to handle with these names is ... creativity ...

    I am sure that this name is pronounced Tacos Auce! See? Sounds like a real name and the world is saved for one day

    Indeed they do. 

    One day while my teens (I think), obviously on a day I didn't have much to do, I walked into our grove and started to whack at a dead tree with a hatchet. 

    A big chunk of bark, about the diameter of a basket ball, came off and fell to the ground.  Behind it, I saw a massive wad of plastic bags.
    I was very confused.  I thought, "why is there plastic inside of this tree?"

    I pulled out the plastic and behind it was a furry body, it's back to me.  It wasn't moving, it was very still - but looking closely I could see that it was breathing.

    I ran off to get my father, so he could see what I had found, but the tree was empty when we returned.   A possum had made a nest inside, had used plastic to help keep it warm.  He had played dead awhile I ignorantly broke into his home, and ran off when the coast was clear. 

    Just as well he did, my father probably would have shot him.

    Yep, they actually do.  It's their defense mechanism.  Apparently their predators prefer live meals.

    Man, that would be a hard troll to take someone's known user name. It would only cost you around $500 to do so. Pretty rough. Especially since you only get 1 name reservation-so you would be putting your own name in jeopardy of being stolen. *cough* @Kratz *cough*

    I hope they have a naming filter in place like Everquest used to.  The name would go to the servers make sure it wasn't a copyrighted name or variation of a 4 letter word then it would go to a GM/Guide for approval.  I used to be a guide for EQ and I can't tell you how many variations of Drizzit and Raistin I rejected as well as some of the stupidest names you could ever think of, such as Dishsoap, Wifebeater, Killyasoon, etc...
