Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

    There was a guy running around my server in LOTRO called Legoolas - honestly, it peeved so many people off he managed to get it changed via a gm's help. I'm all for naming freedom but I hope Intrepid will make sure we don't get ridiculous names like "Ielitzonu" or some crazy names mentioned in this thread.

    I'd really like to not see every possible variation of Legolas or Daenerys Targaryen (or Khaleesi).

    When I logged into FF14 on release day, the guy standing next to me in the new spawn was named "Fuck You".

    Later on I ran by a guy named "Suck You". 

    I tend to use a new in game mode in every game I play. I retire names after I stop playing. There is something cross over though.

    Some of you may know me from other games and not even know it!

    Thanks to me jumping on the Rammstein bandwagon a ways back I have a strong tendency to use German words in my character names. So there is a strong possibility I will use that. Also have been thinking of using a name that will relate back to Elder Scrolls: Morrowind. Or a combination, we'll see, I have awhile yet to decide.

    Apparently there was a game where I went in early and squatted on the cyreph name before cyreph joined the server.

    If available for an alt I will use Azathoth. But, on the KS, there was an Azathoth account that commented. We are not the same Azathoth, so they might reserve or make a character with that name before I get around to it.

    As for my main characters name... I got at least 1.5 years to come up with a good one  ;)

    Legolas, Lego Lars, Kollegolas (only germans understand ^^)... i saw somebody called gimmli-legolas-gandalf too xD

    I am the same wherever I can be... occasionally I seem to get name jacked though... It's rare but happens. But Bannith has been me for a loooooong time.

    That's what I loved about playing Alts in GW2, you had multiple backstory paths in the beginning based on both race and class for a mind boggling amount of story combinations. 
    Granted, they all merged together in the end, but I appreciated the variety.
