  • No personal loot system, looked at and denied.
This is why I prefer to just group with friends/guild members. All this worry about loot.
On the other note, I can definitely see some issues but there will always be issues in a game when grouping with random people. I definitely feel that there should be some measures put into place to avoid people from being able to grief, but I also feel that the players should be rewarded based on their efforts. If you're slacking off in the group, you don't deserve something over another player who was pulling the weight of someone else.
  • I am definitely a fan of this system!
  • Feels nice, the need/greed system had a specific flaw with constant needing, and if you just kick the player that does it then depending where you are (dungoen/raid) then you will need to wait for another player,
  • An option for Personal Loot is a must.
Personal loot is fine as long as you are not guaranteed a drop and the item is taken off a loot table at random.
  • I don't really care about the loot system too much because it does not look too different from the ones in other games and I think these systems are okay.

the bid system is very  bad why you ask if you suck at getting gold most people are usually not nice and if your new good luck getting anything also being solo means you will never group ever when the game goes live for the first month or so the system would work, Fast forward a few months new players  will unless in a guild will have almost no chance of getting much

For the bidding system, look at it from the perspective of the experienced player. Say you had been trying to farm something for a while and some a new player comes in. The item you have been trying to get drops, you roll, and they take the item you have been wanting for a while. How would you feel? Is that really fair?

Add bidding. Same scenario but if you really want the item, you can bid on it now. If you bid on it then the money gets distributed everyone. The new player gets more money and the experienced player gets their item. Is that really unfair? Not only does the new player get the money from the bid but they got to roll on all the other items that the experienced player didn't need.

The thing about new players is they usually need everything. Have you never been in the situation where you regret taking a new player because you know they are going to roll on the one drop you want?

The bidding system is new player friendly because it doesn't punish players for bringing new players with them. They don't have to compete with the new players for loot.

I never liked the Need/Greed method or the round robin method. In fact I prefer the GW2 method everyone gets something from the loot table. Then you dont have fights, mistrust your fellow players and there are no arguments.

    IS use the KISS method.
  • KISS is good thing
