I agree as a 10 year + player in Second Life & player of Skyrim, it would be great to see the ability to have the idea to deeply customize a character within the character creation, and actually add muscles, or body sculpt like in "EVE Online" somewhat but with the ability to actually fine tone the character and add things such as "Muscles", customize shape of "Breasts" "Ass / buttocks" hips & curves, as well as other fine details of a character in the game.

This is something that many online games lack and I would like to see AOC with such said features as a backer of the game, as well as many other features, and ability to even add ELF Ears, or certain other cosmetics to the game, including tattoo's and everything would be great.

The problem being with most MMO games such as "Skyforge" is they all feel too generic, yes I can make my character kinda big, but I can't add stuff like Muscles, and BDO as a game doesn't really offer much body sculpting options for example you can make a bigger character, but its not really too well detailed.

EVE Online is the best game I could compare to wanting when it comes to muscle girls, the ability to basically the ability to highlight areas of the body and add muscles / tone, freckles, would all be great.

It could also be made easily by having a slider that has a "Regular Body" as another one that morphs it to muscular", while another one that makes the body bigger with more morphing?

Another slider could be used for muscle definition normal map intensity, and another one for veins normal map intensity like in APB, or APB Reloaded as it is now.

I've no problems with muscular women being created.  In fact the more robust the CC the better for everyone.
  • I hope there is a "Crush fruit with thighs" emote as well!

I am judging. Muscular girls make me want to throw up. That's really not an aesthetic that's designed to impress, on females.

Just my personal preference though.. Who knows, there are a lot of guys out there who want to be dominated, to support your want for muscular females.. But I'd personally rather not throw up on my keyboard every 30 seconds :P
Wow, you opened a HUGE can of worms with this one!

First of all, one of my best friends is a female bodybuilder. She got into it during her 24-year marriage to a super-abusive husband. It wasn't about dominating anyone, it was about claiming herself.

Secondly, will you honestly tell me that men build their bodies up so they can dominate others? Is that what you think about it?

I'd recommend you do some research, rather than let your ideas run away with your mouth (or, in this case, your fingers). For bodybuilders, they consider themselves artists, and their bodies are their canvas. They are in it for themselves, their growth, their whatever. Not about them in domination or submission to anyone else.

For the OP? I think if that's your aesthetic, then go for it, and hopefully the guys at IS will give us a preview of the chargen so we can play around with sliders and see what's available. Oh -- and go easy on Xombie. He's a good guy, really :-)
  • @Tigersan to me it looks like your looking for a man with a vagina.   :D
I'd say that was pretty inappropriate. Why is it you men think that a muscular woman is mannish? That comment, and the thinking behind it, indicates a problem with you, not with the OP.

Body diversity is a pretty wonderful thing; just as there are mutant men with trapezius six-eight inches thick, there are women who are naturally muscular. I'd rather celebrate someone who looks "not normal" but likes themselves than I would someone who looks "normal" but hates themself.

  • Told.
  • TLDR: I am good guy!
  • atleast we know your preference. hey no hate from m whatever makes you happy pal.
  • I hope there is a "Crush fruit with thighs" emote as well!
    Something similar to this.

If that doesn't make your pants tight, nothing will.

I wouldn't be opposed to the option to have that level of muscles on girls if the guys will have it too.

Personally, I prefer to make my female characters more muscular if it's possible, but not on the same level as yours. More like this one.
I agree with Nochts idea, and he's said all the points which I was about to say, but I do like your idea, but yeah maybe slightly pull down the masculinity level. I mean I wouldn't even want my male character to be that swole XD.

I spent all my youth working nightclubs.
99.9% of the bouncers were bodybuilders.

There's no point in discussing tastes here... everybody has got different ones.. This thread was just meant to show the dev's that there is some interest in this one aspect of CC that is pretty easy to implement and will make some people very happy, and able to immerse in the game with their character...

Ok good, this thread is back.

Is this what we're doing today? We're ganna fight?
  • I'm just going to sit back and enjoy this!

Only if Ashes will have craftable steroids.
  • The thing for me is, well, male or female, we will all be using the same weapons, similar armor, chopping the same wood, mining the same veins, so either way, we should be able to adjust to somewhat similar muscle limits. Of course, would look different since male and female bodies gain muscles differently, but no reason to only allow non-muscular girls.  :D

I think that in character creation both male and female should not be allowed superior muscles, or to be overweight either.

In character creation you should be allowed only average body build, with moderate sliders.

HOWEVER in game, if you work on yourself and put in effort (by adequate physical activity) then your character would slowly change and gain muscles, or if you are lazy, you would slowly become overweight.

Standard, average activity, would keep you in average shape. Your body would be changeable over time, depending on how much physical activity you engage in.

Wow.......nicely done. If only she had a beard :(
  • I don't think I would enjoy my characters body style changing based on activity level. If I build a portly dwarf, and then mine/fight/forge all day every day I would still want to play my portly dwarf.
  • to each his/her own i guess, i never really liked muscle on women. It just doesn't feel feminine. I guess that can be looked at as sexist, but its not intentional!

I have no problem what so ever if its an option during character creation! I hope though that its more muscle toned, then full bodybuilder mode which IMO just looks nasty and unnatural! ( even on men! )

Character customization is one of my favorite things in an MMO, so to me, it's also very important! @Tigersan I absolutely love that you want to make a character that's so unique compared to what most people will be customizing! I personally really want to make a male elf (mage) but, if AoC character customization gets super detailed, I'm also kinda hoping to be able to make a "little magical girl" type character because heaven knows I'm such a terrible weeb and need my anime fix even while gaming haha! I hope you're able to make your buff lady once the game comes out :)
  • This conversation is making me tense

  • I'm hoping breast size is adjustable. Seriously. I'm just a girl who likes to be in her clothes, not falling out.

Thanks, 1 out of 20 posts made in this thread are constructive, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Internet "warriors" on the other side of the monitors mostly LOL.

Honestly, I'm not much into anime or manga, and I guess it all depends if those kinds of characters will fit into the lore of the game... Being able to use a slider to define the muscularity is sort of a neutral thing... :)

Lol yeah people like to get a little excited or over-zealous about things some times ;) I’m just hoping for those sliders too - make a super short female mage or something and maybe it will look short enough to pass as a magical kid haha but I hear AoC’s character customization is supposed to be really detailed like Black Desert Online so let’s cross our fingers and hope so! :)
