    I see no reason not to have private client side avatars and public server side avatars.

    The more you can customize your toon the better. If you are playing the game so you can stare at 3d girls run around might I suggest Bless for you. Otherwise, I want to be able to make toons of one race so different from one another that you would be hard pressed to say that they were the same race.

    Who cares if you CAN make a muscular female ? no one is telling others to do so, what's more if people are playing to role play then appereance is a big part of it :3
