I’m a recent college microbiology graduate student who also happens to be a total geek, nerd, gamer (MMOs are my addiction lol and breaking things yeah bugs are fun!), and bookworm 📚🎮. When I’m not buried in science or reading, you’ll probably find me sketching (occasional artist - we need more hours in the day ahhh ✏️), collecting plushies, taking pictures of absolutely anything I find fascinating, or running off some chocolate-cupcake energy 🧁🍫 with my mini Schnauzer dog Luca (who looks like a spotted wizard dude!) for all my crazy doings.

What else... I love math and I love music, I can play the ukulele left handed and I am a mezzo-soprano in terms of musical terms! fun!

Just joined AOC ... in phase 3
level 4 first time i have been excited in a game in a long time ... yeah im 57 lol
Usually I have the username Howitzer, but I settled on HardyArty. I've been playing MMOs since 2003 when I was a child, the first MMO I've ever played was Star Wars: Galaxies. Other major MMOs include Old School Runescape, Secret World, Archeage (and all of its iterations), Star Wars: The Old Republic, EVE: Online, Black Desert Online, World of Warcraft, New World, and my latest one, Throne & Liberty.
I decided to join now as I've gained confidence in the project after spending the last couple of years checking in. I am looking for an MMO to occupy a significant portion of my time. The main reason I quit Throne & Liberty was because of the time gated content; World bosses were relegated to certain time slots and it was greatly hindering my progress and doing content in a hardcore guild that had requirements. After a 1,000 hours, I just hung the game up on the shelf.
I am looking forward to focusing on a tank-styled archetype and being the heavy on a team/group/guild. I am excited to partake in future tests and seeing all of you out there!

My name is Tim, nice to meet you all here on the Ashes of Creation forum!
I’ve been following the project for quite some time now, and back in 2022 I was part of the Wiki community, where I served as a curator for the Ashes of Creation Wiki project.
That experience gave me the chance to dive deep into the game’s lore, mechanics, and the amazing vision behind the world of Verra. It also made me realize how strong and creative this community can be.
Outside of Ashes, I’m into MMORPGs, lore discussions, and community projects. I enjoy building things together with others, whether it’s editing, theorycrafting, or just hanging out and sharing ideas.
What excites me most about Ashes of Creation is the Node system and how it allows players to truly shape the world. I’m also really curious about guild dynamics, economy, and social structures — those aspects of MMOs always fascinate me.
I’m looking forward to meeting fellow adventurers here, sharing thoughts, and riding the hype train with all of you!✨

I'm looking forward to playing Ashes of Creation and am considering buying early access. We'll see how many friends I can get to join me in this.
Played Throne and Liberty and had a great time running a guild called Vasa for Swedish and Nordic people. I intend to start Vasa on AoC and if you're from the Nordics looking for a guild with the intent of exploring all that which AoC has to offer feel free to contact me.
Accustomed to looking for bugs in general and report them as I find them because I thrive in a competitive environment where both sides of the scales are balanced. Rather than exploiting bugs.
