must not be good at wow pvp since macros arent that useful in it
MMORPG's inherently are extremely competitive.
You could opt to play in a non-competitive manner with some MMORPG's, though probably not Ashes.
To your point about physically impared gamers, I've yet to personally see a physically impared gamer where the remedy is using macros as opposed to using a better designed input device.
Stevens comments on macros in relation to Ashes is that it is impossible to seperate macros from scripts, so if they allow for one, they allow for both.
You're trolling right
Target/focus macros are extremely powerful, and they're used by literally every single top wow pvper for a reason.
• Competitive/Online Games: Macros are often considered cheating if they provide an unfair advantage, violating the game’s terms of service.
• Single-Player/Non-Competitive Games: Macros may not be viewed as cheating but are often subject to community norms and developer rules.
i used macros in EQ ( was a healer ) .
thy gave us complete heal ( on a 10 second timer ) .
during raids we had a heal rotation ( like every4 or 5 seconds the tank needid a complete heal )
macros you coud make in game ( i think we coud do like 5 lines or so and i am probeplie butchering the codes )
raid was :
cast 1
wait 35 ( depending on the mob this woud change )
/groepchat now it is your turn XXXX ( next healer name )
during normal gameplay i used a macro for complete heal olso , it was someting like :
cast 1
/groepchat casting CH on %T , this takes 10 second do not leave the vicinity of the healer.
or even just a basic macro that just did a :
/assist ( whith or whitout the tanks name )
or as a puller a :
/groepchat pulling a %T be readdy.
%T was command to say the name of the target .

this should not be confused with someone who can record a string of keyboard buttons and the repeat that string by click of a set button vs what I put up here that will run without being at the keyboard at all. One is I saw a plane vs I am the plane.
