    Will there be niche stats? For example "increased healing received from allies", "reduced attack speed for nearby enemies".

    How detailed will weapon crafting be?

    will we have premade blueprints we can craft or will we be able to mix and match parts?

    like for example
    if i make a sword will i be able to craft it like
    x-blade
    y-handle
    z-pommel
    and maybe material?

    or will they work like entire recipies?

    Are spells from Primary archetype gonna change their looks/animations/name based on secondary archetype and other augments we choose to enhance our skills with!

    Hello!
    Is it possible to use weapons or shields with a cosmetic skin on them as a decoration in your house?
    This has totally nothing to do with the new beautiful Halcyon Spire shield skin. :D

    so, the wiki says 'Players will have a first-name and an optional surname (last name)'.

    What about when you form a family, will that create a family name? Applied to all, who are part of it.
    Are there any visible indications, that tie family members together? Seen by others.

    Are you changing the graphic engine from UE4 to unreal engine 5? if that is the case the game will use nanite and lumen technology?

    love the updates keep it up, I believe in the dev team, but tbh I would like to see more customization options when nearing the launch... I know you guys are working on major stuff right now since it IS alpha but, you gatta some how top the customization level that FFXIV has, that would be dope.

    If multiple bounty hunters party up to kill a corrupted player, does the entire party get the score/points for the kill or does the bounty hunter who got the last hit alone get the score for the kill?

    Will all mounts made with player crafting through animal husbandry or taming have the ability to have mount barding?

    How impactful do you intend player skill to be in small scale situations or rather, how will player skill match up against item power? (will player skill always be the defining factor of the outcome)

    I personally find the tab circle underneath the characters a little off-putting. Do you plan to have alternate visual options to see a target is selected (e.g how ESO does it).

    During the mmorpg reddit Q&A stream Steven said we would get info on Jeffreys replacement AFTER Alpha1, causing some speculation on if A1 ends after the month long test.

    Could we get an official answer if A1 testing ends after the month long test or if there will be more A1 testing after that.

    Could you elaborate on some of the functionalities of stealth such as the possibility of backstabbing, thievery, sabotage, etc? (There's not much info on the wiki)

    Outside of mob spawn changes, the mentioned pathing blockages and strength of elemental spells (already a great list), are there any other gameplay changes that seasons will bring?

    Will there be any areas in the world that are so corrupted they seep into the player if they are there for too long, slowly causing corruption or something similar?

    An example of this would be if you engaged a hard world boss, and you would slowly gain corruption while fighting it. Since corruption reduces stats such as health and damage, increases drop rate of gear the more corruption you have it would incentivize PvPers to attempt to gank the players attempting the boss (corruptionless death won't do that since people won't be bringing gatherables to raids), while it would incentivize the players attempting the boss to bring some PvPers along for defence. It would be a race against time for the PvErs since if the defending PvPers were wiped, they would be easily overrun due to having corruption – especially if it was towards the end of the encounter – building tension as the fight dragged on.

    How do you plan to differentiate leveling in ashes? What kinds of new quests; instead of just fetch, escort, or kill quests. Or what other kinds of activities will there be to gain xp in the adventuring class?

    Any plans to remove friendly player collision? I noticed it during the siege test and it seemed quite annoying to say the least. Player collision seems neat as it can provide some tactical PVP strategies but with friendlies, it only serves to cause frustration and potential griefing.

    Hello everyone, I have multiple questions. It would be amazing if you get to talk about one or even more.

    First of, are there any plans for extremely rare, and powerful spells to be found within the game that only a handful of players (on a server) can get? e.G, a very high aoe spell with lower damage that has a very high cd and/or cast-cost.

    Second, what is your approach to 1. Cheater and 2. Botter. Will there be an AC in place? If so, is it going to be a standalone program?

    And last, how easy will it be to change abilities withing your Archetypes. And will it be possible to change your Archetype at all? Maybe with a powerful item.

    I'm sorry if you've already answered those questions. Keep up the good work and see you on the server!

    Sinces ashes implements many mechanics/systems from multiple games, is there any mechanics/systems you wish you could have added from a game but couldn't due to technical/workload/other reasons?
  • A question about the legendary and flying mounts:

    Once the super-rare mounts expire, will we get any in-game mementos by which to remember them?

    (I.e. - A plushie decoration, or like a skull to put over our houses' mantles)

    Regarding the military node elections, is it still on the table to have actual characters fighting for the leadership, with the best gear they can get their hands on?
    Maybe class balance doesnt have to meet the criteria for this corner of the game, but rather absolute power should decide the winner.

    Will there be other variances of action oriented combat or is Action-Camera, that is now implemented in the Alpha, going to be the only option?
