I understand if they segregate based on region due to ping or something, but one of my greatest memories from L2 was playin with people from around the world. We are looking to make this as close to a 24/7 guild that we can. That could mean we join up with a heavy EU alliance, add alot of EU players, etc. Or maybe you could help organization an EU branch of ENMITY and possibly alliance with us down the road? Many possibilities. Just think about it and if you have any EU friends that may possibly join that may ballance our playtime scales.

    @Nelirya As stated in our guild recruitment post, we are hoping to get a wide diversity of people. I'm looking for this guild to be running 24/7, so If you ever decide to join the NA servers.. we will be here for you. Like @GOAT said, Not if it would cause latency for you. Hopefully we cross paths some day :smile:

    The problem with playin in NA isn't the other players online time as much as the main events time. I remember gettin up for Olympiad in L2 at 1am (and it lasted till 7am) when i played L2 in NA servers, and sieges were in that time as well. That is the main issue with region settings on servers :-(

    It's been quite some time since I've played L2, but when I did play I was a 92 Human Othell Rogue on Chronos, but I quit eventually because of the typical Korean grind fest and overwhelmingly punishing enchant system. I enjoyed the hell out of the game while I played it though.

    I think I was on Erica. My toon was Ezenkrul, though I had a couple toons. I was a caster mostly, haha, cannot recall the name. I played with Xasha, Clarimonde, Zathrule a bunch. So many many years ago.

    Oh god if this game has the same enchant system or somewhat similar to L2 i will never stop playing it lol. I spent so much time enchanting it was the best thing ever!

    I made so much income selling low grade (d & c) enchanting scrolls. There were always people wanting them. Seeing people bust their weapons just made me more money. I felt like casino some times, "Good luck with your enchanting  >:) "

    I kind of had a love/hate relationship with the enchantment system in L2. On one hand it was always exciting to see if you finally managed to + a piece. However, if you failed an enchantment, your gear would break and disappear. Like @MrWaffles stated, it would feel like a casino, you could win or you could lose massively. That was especially bad when you NEEDED to have enchanted gear to even compete and if an individual was lucky enough to have all pieces enchanted even +1 more than you, you would lose. Now I'm basing this off of private servers, as I didn't play the official all that much. I hope skill counts more or at least as much as gear. But hey, this is just my opinion :D

    Also, I am pretty certain that it has been stated that only over-enchanting will have a chance to break gear in ashes (can't remember exactly which live-stream this was said in), which I am fine with really.

    I don't know about the private servers, but on official ones there were always superstitions about over enchanting. Some said do it right after the server was reset (for weekly maintenance). Some said wait for others to fail so your success rate would be higher. 

    Always made me laugh because it was all just RNG.

    Omg I remember that! One I thought was really funny and actually tried was to run around while enchanting xD

    Yup I remember this. I once waited 2 weeks and the got up at 4am to try and get some enchanting done.

    L2 was like a 2nd job to many of us. It's been a long time since I had a second job, I think it's time to put in work like the old days  >:)

    I think some of the raids felt like real accomplishments, having to wait a month or two for that right moment to join a raid to level. The massive raids that got fought over when the boss was at low level.

    L2 was my first and only MMO and I was waiting for a game that could remember me those times. I played like 6 years on private and official servers. Great to know there will be a guild with l2 mind ^^. I'm gonna try to bring my clan members to this game.

    LOL!, how did I know you'd start something regarding L2 @GOAT

    Wanted to throw my little L2 experience I had, only played it for about 1.5 years as my first MMO. Played basically until 1/2 weeks into the release of WoW (RL friends got me into it).

    I don't remember what server I was on, Sieger (or something similar in name). But using the great corruption/bounty hunter system they had I ran a small guild if Hired Assassins. I was a DE Walker named Sojiro. I very well may be trying to do that again in AoC as it appears to allow for it, as long as you don't just go on killing rampages (as a hired assassin you don't do this anyway).

    According to my roommate (whose been my roommate since freshman year of college in 2004) our sever was Kain. If anyone was on that server and remembers an Kantos that was me!

    Hindemith. SR Sackic(perma red). Horrific SR. Prophet Forsburg as main. First MMO and best I've ever played. 6 or 7 years put in. Started in 5th grade :D.

    I'm just going to say it again for the ones who may have missed it in this thread. Check out Mine and @GOAT's guild. we want to form a solid core before release. You can see our forum post here or pop into our discord and talk some Lineage 2 with us. Hopefully we can get a good handful of you L2 veterans as our core element

    I played on Teon and Luna with some Spanish clans, nothing big. On private servers...I don't remember very well since there were a lot.
    I have to tell you that we are EU based so I don't know if it's gonna work :( We are an Spanish community of players. I'm gathering all ppl that played in my clan as I was the leader. Right now I got 15 members back.

    @WinterAssassin and I would love to speak with you regardless. We do hope it works out that NA/EU players could coexist on the same servers without insane latency issues...but that is a long wait and see.

    Not really a veteran, but I played and enjoyed L2. There are definitely a few more things about the game that could inspire Intrepid.
