    I think it would also break Kickstarter TOS as it was supposed to be exclusive if they were to go back on that.

    I hold a lifetime sub, but would be ok if they offered a long term sub option that's heavily discounted. Like 1yr sub for $8 a month or something.
    I wouldn't have any complaints, solid compromise.

    Im about to upgrade my founders to braver of worlds right now, only $400 for a game I speculate ill be spending a few years on at least. I will spend more in subs if I dont lol

    Most MMOs offer a pretty nice discount if you buy a year at a time. Lowest I've seen though is $9.99 a month (for a full year) compared to the normal $14.99 a month. Anyone seen lower than that?

    Daybreak does $100 per year now, or $8.33 per month : ). Tera had some sales at either $5.00 or $7.50 a month I think.

    Sadly, I was unemployed when this was on kickstarter but I very much wanted to buy the lifetime sub pack.. My fingers were itching and hovering over the Check-Out button but that would have meant no money for rent and that would not have been a good idea LOL.. ;) And now that I have my finances in order and a full time job since august last year, the lifetime pack is not availible.. :( Unfortunately that was the only pack I was interrested in pre-purchasing, so I will settle for getting the cheapest option of the game once it's released and then perhaps upgrade from there..
    I've played MMORPGs since EQ1 beta, on to EQ2 and the past 3+ years it's been Elder Scrolls Online, and AoC is what I plan on moving on to after ESO.

    Now it's all about waiting for the game to get finished and released.. :)

    @Preed did you buy the lowest Kickstarter package?  If you did, you can upgrade now to Braver of Worlds.

    Nope...people paid $400 to $500 for BoW depending on if they got one of the early bird packages. Came with a whole mess of cosmetics and other goodies, testing access to all non-NDA phases, and lifetime sub. People like to whinge and moan that others are paying $500 for testing access, but tend to forget all the other stuff that came in the packages. If you put the lifetime sub on its own without all the other stuff, then you need a little over 3 years for it to pay for itself. But then again, that is not the only thing in the KS packages.

    @Karthos $15 a month x 12 months = 180 annually, 10 years being his example amount of play time gets you 180 x 10=  1800. Simple math my dear Sir.

    so I believe the answer to your riddle is 52= weeks, 5= years, so you basically have 260/4= 65 payments in 5 years 13 payments a year. Boom Math solved.

    That would work if it was charged weekly, but it won't be. Either way, those of us with it won't have to pay for sub again. It was a leap of faith for development from vapor to final product, and then sustainability after.

    @Sylarr pretty sure they confirmed that it wont be happening, it was only for Summer/KS backers and wont be a returning.

    Confirmed multiple times. Was marked exclusive. They are not going to open the PR shitstorm that would occur by making exclusives available again. Plus, there is no incentive for them to do so. The promotion achieved its goal during KS.
