the combat is said to be tab-target action hybrid combat system with positioning playing a important part as well, that to me sounds like its similar to gw2 combat if Im not mistaken, am I correct on that ?
The future of games is leaning towards the action style combat. Intrepid Sudios needs to get on board and make an action combat system to attract the marketed people. I also hope they keep their promise of a questing system that isn't the generic style like WoW and the housing system. All in all, me and my friends are on the bandwagon, but intrepid needs to deliver on their promises.

Woo! So excited for this game. I'm keep hearing it's gonna be a little like black desert with the open world thing going on, a bit like Archeage with the multi class system, and a bit of generic mmo! Gotta say, I'm looking forward to the beta. My one question would be, will there be Ocean Content, like building ships and overseas trade..kinda like Archeage.

Naval content &/or maritime content are topics that reached the Devs' 'ears'. If the community truly wishes for it, there is a high chance for it to eventually be implemented. But keep in mind that the game still is in the early stages of development, this question is best asked at a later stage in the overall game's development.
But in general, Steven said that Intrepid Studios will make oceans great again!
This game looks amazing. I will definitely be following the progress and hopefully participating in future testing. The last title I had been following with anticipation was EQ Next and was saddened to hear about the halt in developement. Hope you guys can get this launched sooner than later :).

Yea the fact that its subscription based to me is great. This game's community looks to be growing rapidly with features and ideas that gets alot of praise from content creators. With all the help from the community and support it will continue to grow.
The game looks great and has some fantastic ideas if followed through, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for it. I see its going to be a subscription game and I was wondering if there will be a Reward System like in other sub related games? Like "subscribe X amount of days get X as your reward".

I'm happy to see that you're developing in a "cross-platform-capable" manner. I'd really like to see a Linux version. Obviously Windows will be your prime target, but knowing that UE4 has Linux support built in, what is the likelihood of Ashes of Creation reaching Linux natively?
Hi , really looking forward to your game and hopefully it will go really well ,but could you give me some insight on gear sets on even though yours classes system looks great , will there be a balance to that and gear sets too as some other mmo really only have top gear sets and broken sets . As can really break a game to some people and pvp is not on option to running unique builds
Non consensual pvp is a very big deal to a lot of people. People take advantage of this and camp others for hours. It takes away the fun for those who don't want or like pvp. This early in the game is a great time to point out these facts at the very least.
