Wood chips are made when you make timber. 1 log --> 1 timber + some wood chips (i don't remember how many). I made some yesterday, of both heroic and rare varieties

PTR UPDATE NOTES - MONDAY, AUGUST 25, 2025
- Pressing shift while typing will no longer trigger Sprint
- Novice tools can now be crafted with a timber of your choice
- Pickaxes, Lumberjacking axes, and sickles can now be crafted with a weaponmold of your choice
- Deepwarden Bastion armor recipes have been fixed and will appear on Armor Smithing stations in the Anvils
- Fixed issues with zone specific recipes sometimes not showing up on the recipe list at stations
- Commissions requesting stonehawks to be slain can now be completed correctly
- Fixed a bug that could cause the hair of some characters to look stretched when looking at them from a distance
- A potential fix for issues that cause NPCs to not spawn in some parts of the world under certain conditions

like as soon as all of that BS started failing and stuff started getting back to normal Overwatch for example the game thats been putting out BS for years changed to save themselves , heck as soon as rivals came out they started releasing hot characters and showering them with skins and lately released a statement that they will focus on putting out well in short "hot characters" and basically cut the well as they put it "quirky" stuff they been putting out and killing their game with.

@Aja1984 Yep I've since changed my opinion. Alts should absolutely count towards a guilds membership. This is another good reason for it too.

As the title says. If your main is in a guild and you bring an alt into that same guild it shouldn't count towards the guilds player count. Since guild member count will be a mechanic in the game alts shouldn't be invited into the Guild because they clog the numbers. Since it's the same account the two characters can't be logged in at the same time, it won't give the guild any advantage in anything really. It'll help with the GuildName1 GuildName2 GuildName3 issue we see, to an extent. This is just a way to help keep players that want to play together, together. We're not all in discord all the time, I personally like to play some music and engage in some mindless gathering and crafting for hours here and there. But if my alt isn't in the guild chat i'll miss the LFM for somethingsomethingsomething, that I wanted to do with my main.
Just a feature that adds to the game without breaking anything, a no brainer in my mind. But maybe I didn't think of something.
I'm afraid this would affect inter-clan espionage and cases where you have an alternate character with evil intentions who wants to betray and rob other clanmates.
For people who respect the role play and want to have their own evil character, this proposition would be bad.

I just wanted to pop in and let you know, you should be able to uninstall the launcher through Windows, and during uninstall, have it remove the game files. But, if that doesn't work, you should be able to manually remove the data by deleting the folders yourself.
If you continue to have issues after that, feel free to submit a ticket to customer support. Be sure to include details of the issue, what you have tried and attach the following files to the ticket:
Collect Logs and System Files

Re: New player Experance
IMO what i tested was nice but seems to most end around level 7-9. Playing the first handful of levels was the best I have seen so far. IMO allot of what they did needs to not be a sharp plunge at level 9 to 99% grind. Finding small events everywhere that as you grinder caused you to know just do the most effective grind but also to work towards the reward of the event.
Mob placement made sense and this needs to be everywhere as well.
I would like to more steps in the events that slowly pus players together to a larger event that takes more players. With rewards that make it a custom that players want to do them.
can you elaborate more about your 1 to 7-9 experience?

you should play though. the more people from europe, the sooner you will get your EU server. If people from europe start thinking like you and not playing waiting for the EU server, then the EU server wont happen
