  • Will every class be able to effectively use every type of weapon, or will for example mages be forced to use traditional caster weapons as staves and wands? I want to play as a mage using other weapons, but I fear it will not be possible or viable.

    I had a similar question also but one of the recent Dev streams stated that there will be no weapon restrictions for any Archetype but that there will be obvious strong choices for certain weapons. Which I assume means things like Rogue/Ranger (Bows, Daggers) Mage staff or perhaps Talisman.
    Not sure however what this entails exactly, it could be something like if you want to use a sword as mage you would have to go either Fighter/Mage or Mage/Fighter. Or perhaps only some weapons get bonuses from Archetype abilities even though you can equip all weapons?

    Was mentioned in previous Dev video that all weapons will be equipable by all Archetypes. They also said though that certain Archetypes will have a meta build with certain weapons, via some kind of inherent bonus for that Architype/Weapon combination.

    Not sure at this stage what exactly that means though.   • It would be possible to create a Necropolis on a Node and make an undead civilization or some kind like that? Skelleton Dragon for the leader!?, and another silly question...There will be pets with utility for gatherers or crafters like a Pig like pet used to find truffes?
  • You mentioned that bag space will be on a more realistic scale, hence the necessity for the caravan system. I was wondering how large storage will work? Will we see banks in cities? and if so would the destruction of a node equate to the loss of all goods stored there?

    Assuming huge success of your franchise in the future, would you be able to introduce AI (you would have connections to Google if not there is IBM) into Ashes of Creation?
    I'm talking about AI responsible for random quests in farming zones, generating quest based on data analysis from lore, people stats and other?
    Being able to surprise with unpredictable task, would hook me up till my last days ;)

  • How in depth will the Character Creation System be? I know it was mentioned that you guys were inspired by the BDO Char. Creation System, but I was hoping that you would be able to elaborate on that.

    What I would love, is for the option to make yourself younger or older as you wish, with equal customization options for both males and females. I always prefer to play as a much younger male character in games, and just cannot get into the game if this option is not possible.

    Do you plan on letting people customize there appearance to fit various age ranges/body scales, and to what extent will you allow players to edit there avatars appearance?
  • Will ship building be a legitimate profession, and would becoming a master shipbuilder (ShipWright) be similar to a master swordsmith where by being a master ship builder that your ships have something more special about them compared to than someone who isn't a master shipwright ships.
  • Will there be an in game DKP system for guilds to be able to use for awarding players with in the guild items from a raid if its a guild member only raid ect ect. also will there be like guild banks or guild storage for guilds to collect funds to complete guild milestones or projects as well as item storage for a said DKP systems?
  • As in many games there can be much exploitation with outside programs. Will this be a high priority to stop this and will the penalties be sever? Many players that exploit end up back in the game after a short suspension, but are able to keep the items or stats they gained by the exploit/ cheating. It also seems when a problem is identified it can take weeks or months before it is addressed.

    Will we have tattoo's for our characters and if so will I be able to RP as a female Elf exotic dancer in my Freehold tavern with a W tattooed on each ass cheek and the 'Baconator' as my Bouncer?
  • 1)<strong> How complex will crafting armor/weapons be?</strong> For example, if I am crafting a sword, do I craft the entire sword or all the individual pieces? For armor, will we be able to craft individual pieces, such as a chestplate, and then wear that chestplate with a different armor piece, or will armor just be one full piece that cannot be combined with other armor sets?

    2)<strong> How will enchanting items work and what will we see? </strong>Will enchanting be a profession, allowing players to enchant and sell items to other players? Will enchanted items have visual effects? For example, if I were to enchant a sword with a fire ability, would my sword be covered in fire?
  • 1. Will we see riddles, puzzles and jumping puzzles around the world and some puzzles demanding cooperation in dungeons/raids?

    2. Don't you think allowing 1 character to spec in only 1-2 skills like cooking, gathering etc will lead to people just parking alts at gathering spots and never actually playing them?
  • Is each unique class combination going to have a name like Paladin and Spellsword? Or are these titles reserved only for class combinations which serve to create traditional fantasy classes like Druid and Paladin.

  • You said that we can choose our main class as our secondary class. Could you explain in a little more detail how augmenting a skill with the same skill will work?
  • Given the importance of managing the supply and transportation of goods, what are the current plans for inventory management, and how long should we expect for us to fill our bags during general questing/gathering?

    For example, is it more slot based, weight based, something else entirely maybe? Will there be any ways of increasing the amount of goods we can carry through an artisan class or mounts and such?
  • How important is the cleric in a raid or pvp , in other words is this class mandatory for raiding and entering a dungeon ? Can other classes heal themselves ?
  • Can I gain exp, by owning a business? For example a Tavern/Inn.

    my question is: how do you want to implement/realize the possibility to tell my Charrackter apart to others?

    I dont think at the charackter creation (the look) or the choos of a class.

    What I'm thinking about is will there be a skilltree or the possibility to costumize Item stats in any way. Like sockets for gems or decreasing a stat and increase another. Things like that.

    The most important thing for me is individuality for my charrackters.
