Am I the only pvper that enjoys being ganked

You are saying "we" as if you represent the majority of hardcore PvPers.
You are really just talking about you and the people you hang with.
Which is fine.

You already stated in the OP how you like to play.
The topic question is whether you are the only one who likes to play that way.
Other people are sharing their answers. 
We should expect that you are not the only one who likes to play the underdog.
And we might also expect that the people who do will be a minority.
And that most players will not enjoy getting ganked and will not enjoy being the underdog.

You don't have to defend why you enjoy playing the way you like to play.
People are just answering your question.
You should be able to accept that most people probably don't like playing the way you like to play.
And just enjoy learning about the perspectives of playstyles different from your own.

IMO

Its common sense really. Games could not function if there was a mass exodus of pvpers deliberately attacking low level areas everyday all day 24/7. I say we because as a hardcore pvper for 14 years, I feel comfortable saying that yes. As pvpers we do care about the level of a person and do not all go around killing levels tens just because we can. Does it happen sure and its random at best. But I find most pvpers tend to fight there own lvl or near about.

The rest of what you said really has nothing to do with anything. As long as I have been pvping in mmo's there really is nothing I have not seen or do not already know.

Eve Online apparently functions just fine as a hardcore PvP-centric game that most non-hardcore-PvPers avoid like the plague.
There are also plenty of games, like WoW and EQ, where people who don't enjoy getting ganked play on separate PvE servers.

You seemed to already know that you are among a very small minority of people who enjoy being ganked, but you still asked the question anyways.

II noticed you ignored pretty much everything I said. Ganking is a term used often People often refer to a much higher lvl toon killing a lower one as ganking. It is refered to quite a lot of ways of attack that I disagree with as ganking.

The OP has already made his intentions clear by stating that the game is an all out open world PvP game and you should expect to be attacked at any time.
Apparently oblivious of the fact the corruption system exists for the very specific reason to prevent that.
That was the origin of stevens classical 'murderhobo' statements.
He then advises those who understand the true nature of the game that they should leave.

Which was why I had said I hoped not to sever. ( at which point no one really knows to how fast the corruption builds)  But to be able to attack in open world is still allowed or it would be easy to just remove it. 

What you are speaking of is someone who clearly is not a fan of pvp really. I mean there are times I have raided and enjoyed it but that does not make me a raider...... is that a word...

It seems there is a fixation in the word gank alone and not the context of the subject. I suppose I could have said so do you enjoy high lvl players attacking low lvl players I do. It does not have the same zest and a bit long winded.

I wouldn't feel bad. I could have let this go awhile back but kept it alive because it is kind of fun with the verbal jest. It's killing sometime while I deal with the real chaos that has ensued at work. But I do thank you for the welcome it's much appreciated

It seems many people don't understand the difference between open world PvP and all out open PvP.

For the benefit of those that don't know, open world PvP is when it is possible to attack another player in the open world, rather than just in instances. Even pseudo-PvP games that have two factions that are unable to attack players of their own faction, but are free to attack players of the opposing faction are open world PvP games.

No persistent MMORPG has free, open PvP. No persistent MMORPG ever will, as the ability of one player to completely ruin the experience of multiple other players is too much of a risk for any developer to consider - and we all know there are players out there that, given the opportunity, will do anything they can to ruin someone else' day.

Players that want this sort of thing are better off served by Battle Royale type games, as that is exactly what they are designed to offer.

I don't understand why you take multiple opportunities to point out; you diet but don't need to, work is stressful (implying importance), your choice of semi-healthy foods, and the fact that those that work for you need you to function properly.

Reflection of ones insecurities and constant pursuit of validation are common practice on the internet. Everyone needs to know I am super healthy, make 6 figures, and have a very important managerial job

Wow such insight and I suppose I had a bad up bringing and my daddy touched my no no spot. Or perhaps I just speak vicarously in the moment,  and It would be nice if I made 6 figures. The amount of nit picking suggest it is you who has some inner demons you would like to discuss. ( hugs are free and I am willing get over here big guy)
 I was not aware trying to diet was me super healthy but thank you ( flexes). Let's say I was eating a pizza because ppl love saying they ordered a pizza. I suppose it suggest I am unhealthy then and want to be the envy of the none pizza ppl lol. If you knew me you'd know this is nothing as superficial as what you seem to think. But as I said this has turn into something fun for me. I will respond as long as I have something to respond to.
