Will there be any unique resources for different biomes (like Albion Online, for example)? Or any other reasons to create far going caravans and to settle different regions instead of one big players hub on the server?
Have you ever thought of having a completely decentralized economy? No auction houses only player shops...
I think this will be the most exciting aspect of player interaction.
I would love to hear more about the caravan system. How does it work?
Just a thought....The more powerful the node the further you could ship goods with a caravan power to match. Then you could seize other players trades, escort your trades, or recruit mercenaries for trades.
However, just don't replicate New World where only high levels seem to be part of Fort battles. Maybe tiered options based on both transferring nodes strength- 1 - lvl 50, 2 - lv 40, 4 - lv 30 etc.
I see you state final world size will be in the Top 10 largest world designs to date. Xenoblade Chronicles X is in that realm size; the world feels boring, you run forever, it feels empty at times.
What will you do to keep every corner of the world exciting?
One of my biggest questions is about crafting either weapons/armor. Are the rare materials going to be actually better then basic materials for crafting? in new world they have a rare resource called fae iron. and even with a consumable to boost your mining chance and gear to increase your chance to find it it was difficult to find. when some was actually found and i looked into making the weapons with it i realized that the weapon i could make had worse stats then the regular weapons i could mass produce. Will the rare resources come with better basic attributes? or maybe added elemental attributes to actually make the gear better then just basic iron or steel.
Will there be a story component to Ashes of creation? If yes, how do you plan to craft a compelling and interesting story in a world which is always changing and can greatly vary from server to server?
With the underealm having large tunnel complexes and caverns, will it still have the same node systems despite not being as open world or will it be more static given that they have been inhabited the whole time?
Regarding leveling/questing, how much grouped vs solo (possible) content can we expect to see along the path to max level? How will that be handled in the open world with multiple groups and few instanced areas? Thank you guys for all you do!
Can you tell us more about the progress on seasonal changes throughout the world? Is the team still planning on having the 4 different seasons affect the climate and weather patterns throughout the world?
If possible, could you tell us if any class will feel some restriction or buff of any kind during a PvE naval combat or will they behave the same way as they do on land?
Since you played a lot of lineage 2, u know the enchanting system it has.
Will you incorporate something similar? Like the idea that even if you achieve endgame gear, the whole enchanting process makes it an endless grind that you always try to do the best thing possible. Or is gear progression going to have a ceiling?
do you think a more finalized version of the crafting system will be available by the alpha 2 testing phase? and if so, what artisan level do you estimate we will be able to reach during the test?
Greetings can't wait to play this game, my question is this:
You already talk about the translating to other languages in the past, talking to other mmorpg enthusiasts from Mexico we are concerned that AOC end up being the same as some games that use the words, in the translation, literally and doesn't have much sense in the final product, is there any chances that the latin community (as well as other countries) could contribute directly or indirectly with the translation and localization?
deathwishMember, Braver of Worlds, Kickstarter, Alpha One
In Planetside 2 there are no real arbitrary restrictions on playing with your guildmates in meaningful content. What are intrepid's thoughts on power leveling or something similar? I prefer it if it means I can bring my friends to current content in MMOs.
Are there road-making tools that create an initial set of optimized roads/paths that the art team decorates over, or are all roads and paths hand-made by the art team?
Hello! Just have quick question which maybe or maybe not some people are wondering. With the success of Lost Ark and the numbers they have pulled(over a million concurrent), I have seen recently seen that Ashes have been getting some hate due to varies thing. How is that affecting Ashes. In positive or negative way? More motivation? Everything related? Just want to see how you would respond to those take your words with a grain or how its launch has done for ashes.
Hello Intrepid Team, much for your work & passion. Are we going to get big, scary, stealthed monsters?
Like a giant dragon, that will jump scare & attack us. If so please make one with a lair in a pitch black cave with limited light sources & tense music, only our spells to light up the fight, very hard to find with amazing loot.
Is there a way for nodes to get destroyed without players action ?
The question is based on the fact that at some point in the development , there was node atrophy that could " destroyed" nodes , and in a way naturally reset server if not enough population.
my question is about node sieges. How will the participants be chosen? Will the Mayor select them or will the system itself assign them? since in case he was the mayor, he could only put his clan into the siege and many other players miss the event.
There is no selection. Everyone who signs up gets to participate.
I am happy to hear the gearing is focused on horizontal progression. That being said, do you have a rough “percentage power advantage” that base line max level gear might have compared to fully BiS gear? It is painful when the gear gap is TOO great (like 40-50% power gap).
You do realize that you get ONE question per month right? By asking more than 1 you basically self select to not have your question answered.

If I kill a level 40 creature as a level 20, will it drop a higher tier level 20 item or just a level 40 item?
Is there a reward for taking risks?
Another question...
When we harvest do we need a specific level to harvest goods? Or do we face the risk of harvesting in higher level terrains because you'll just die.
What will you do to keep every corner of the world exciting?
but will it at least come this year?

(Any storyline purely for a given race?)

I want to buy them but it isn't clear how they work.
