or even free flowing servers like GW2. the possibility of joining a locked in server that dies out and having to switch and all that should be a thing of the past.
Add: What is the minimum level a node must be for there to be player housing?
Hopefully they dont reset health and the AI is smart enough for the enemy to get out of range or find a way to you. Ive always felt the health reset is for lazy programming. Only time it would be remotely relevant is if the character can fly and can get to a ledge that is otherwise impossible for mob to reach but this again can be overcome by the mob retreating
In my opinion tanks are about area control and disruption. This can mean interrupting monsters or taunting them to get threat, this can also mean buffing allies and soaking some of their damage.
The same should stand true in a PvP setting, Tanks should not be able to out-DPS actual damage classes, but should be able to provide plenty of other utility and disruption.
There are many ways this could be expressed to feel rewarding to play without being as oppressive as the occasional tank in PvP in other games. Examples could be crowd control, debuffs, buff strips, physical blocking of players/projectiles or even creating terrain like the siege ability already shown.
The Banking system will be within a node's settlement. Any Corrupted griefer entering the settlement will instantly be mobbed by the NPC guards. This isn't going to be a practical place for a Corrupted griefer to be.
Regarding the 'handing items to a friend' thing, Player to Player trading is disabled when Corrupted.
"Player to player trading, interacting with vendors or NPCs, and the ability to store items in public warehouses is disabled for corrupt players.[11][35]
Corrupt players will be able to utilize private storage in their Freeholds.[35]"

If they can make it back to their freehold (assuming they have one) without being killed, then sure, they can drop off their stuff there.
Yes. Become the mayor of a node, or the ruler of a castle, and you'll get a Flying Mount.
Name the Flying Mount: "spaceships".
You can now fly spaceships.

@OnyStyle (question) - With the ever-changing and fluid nature of Verra, players will see content come and go with various and both predictable and unpredictable player-driven decisions being a main factor. The event system and the node system are just two of many that will act as a catalyst for change and variance in the world of Verra! I highly recommend reading these provided wiki links to learn more about the many systems of Ashes of Creation!
@Talents (question) - Players will have the opportunity to play with many different systems and mechanics, as well as various iterations of systems as they're rolled out, tested, and as we receive feedback during the duration of Alpha Two! ^_^
@Babayugah (question) - We would love to have the Character Creator in the hands of players before Alpha Two!
@Azuru (question) - "... Their cultural markers are also going to be a combination of different influences, so they're very differently constructed culture than what is found in the other eight races." - Steven Sharif You can read more about the Tulnar here, on the wiki!

@Combat_Wombatz (question) - Steven recently said this; "A player could in theory level to max level at a single node, providing that node was at a high-enough stage, but it would not be the most effective means of leveling." which I believe could also apply to leveling up via only naval content.
@Voeltz (question) - Here are three examples of how node reputation may affect a player: NPCs may react differently to players based on their node reputation. A negative node reputation might result in higher prices (for goods or services sold at that node). NPC guards will kill corrupted players on sight. You can read more about reputation here, on the wiki!

@mcnasty (question), @DoctorRogue (question) - Players will have many different means and opportunities to alter their character. @linokami (question) - Currently, a prison system is not a planned feature of Ashes of Creation.
@SunScript (question) - Cosmetic pets are just that - cosmetic. They won't have any impact on gameplay outside of looking good 😎. Ashes of Creation is strictly NO PW2. One of the purposes behind the items in the cosmetic packs and the packs themselves is to help fill Verra with many different buildings, creations, appearances, etc. The Quarrier will likely exist in Verra outside of just being a cosmetic pet, as Steven mentions here
